"Only by taking new paths you leave visible marks." Hartmut Wimmer, Founder Outdooractive

You will own the digital B2C growth funnel—from acquisition through registration, onboarding, and conversion to retention, upselling, and win-back. You will combine performance marketing, lifecycle communication, data analysis, and conversion optimization to ensure that marketing activities make a measurable contribution to user growth, subscriptions, and revenue.

Your new job

  • You manage the digital B2C funnel from user acquisition through long-term customer retention
  • You plan, manage, and optimize paid media activities, with a particular focus on Apple Search Ads, Google, and paid social
  • You analyze and improve registration, onboarding, trial, and subscription conversion
  • You develop lifecycle communication strategies for activation, retention, upselling, reactivation, and win-back
  • You define target audiences, segmentation logic, campaign requirements, and specifications for CRM and marketing automation journeys
  • You plan and evaluate A/B tests, landing pages, and other conversion optimization initiatives
  • You are responsible for performance reporting, tracking requirements, and evaluating channel effectiveness and ROI
  • You analyze acquisition costs, conversion, retention, churn, and customer lifetime value, deriving actionable recommendations
  • You manage external media and performance specialists, ensuring transparency around performance, costs, and learnings
  • You work closely with Product, Data, Technology, Operations, Brand, Editorial, and Social Media
Clear scope of responsibility: You are not responsible for the technical operation of the CRM system. Instead, you own lifecycle strategy, segmentation logic, campaign requirements, and performance. Technical implementation is carried out in close collaboration with Operations, Product, and Technology.
